Stereotypical

Chase is a typical player, a boy who seemingly has a lot of success with the ladies. Changing relationships in a heartbeat. Something appears to be missing, and at the same time, something is threatening to get too close. When Chase gets closer to Casey than he intended, the overwhelming, suffocating and engulfing feelings take over. His desires and fears are at odds with one another.

Stereotypical released on July 22, 2021

Chase is a character with avoidant attachment style. He is afraid of the things he desires and thus gets into a cycle of behavior that results in self-sabotage. Emotional intimacy is hurtful for him, yet he craves for a deeper form of love. This causes him to look for shallow relationship and run away as soon as something gets tooo intimate.

Casey is the main love interest and conflict in this music video. She is a character that isn't focused on that much, although her concept has a lot of potential for a future project. Casey might seem like a secure type when it comes to relationship, but she can actually get very anxious about her place in a relationship. This side of her is only slightly hinted at in the ending of the music video, where Casey cuts of all ties because she's unable to deal with Chase's uncertainty.
